Just a wee reminder, as the Ball is only 4 weeks away - that means only more 4 chances to get your dancing shoes on (or jimmies!) and hot foot it down to Povaskaya on Sunday. Remember, even if you are a complete beginner, you are very welcome...
Scottish country dancing classes have recommenced. All are welcome, whether you can dance like a member of the Lucky White Heather Club or (like most of us) like Rab C Nesbitt, join Catherine Finogenova and her team each Sunday from 16.00hrs at the following location:
Povarskaya str. 14 near Arbatskaya metro (the white school building)
There is no charge and the practise will put you in good shape for the Ball in November. You can brush up your skills on (or learn) dances such as Eightsome Reel, Reel of the 51st division, Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow.
